The Adopt a Coconut Palm (Aco Pa) Program – spearheaded by the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) and implemented by HOPE – invites you to be part of a nationwide movement to grow more coconut trees and support the future of Filipino coconut farming.

Through your donation of 80 pesos per seedling, you help put a coconut seedling into the hands of a smallholder farmer, giving it the chance to grow into a productive coconut tree, while contributing to more sustainable and resilient farming communities.

“Aco Pa” comes from the Filipino expression “Ako pa,” meaning “Me too” or “Count me in.” It’s a simple way of saying that you, too, want to be part of something bigger.

The Adopt a Coconut Palm (Aco Pa) Program is a nationwide, multi-sectoral initiative spearheaded by the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) and implemented by HOPE, in support of the government’s directive to plant 100 million coconut trees by 2028. Anchored on the Whole-of-Nation Approach, the program aims to mobilize individuals, institutions, and organizations to actively participate in coconut reforestation and industry revitalization. The program title “Adopt a Coconut Palm (ACo Pa)” is intentionally designed to resonate with both the cultural identity and collective spirit of the Filipino people.

Ultimately, “Aco Pa” is more than a program name—it is a call to action and a declaration of solidarity, inviting every Filipino to say: “Aco Pa. Count me in.”
