Planas High School
Background
Planas High School, located in Purok 4, Planas, Porac, Pampanga, has been a cornerstone of education in the community since its establishment in 2009. Initially housed in the Barangay Hall, the school moved to its current site. The school accommodates over 500 students under the guidance of 20 dedicated teachers.
Despite initiatives of providing quality education, the school faced several challenges over the years. The aftermath of the April 2019 earthquake resulted in severe damage to one of its buildings, resulting to shortage of classrooms.
Amidst these challenges, the school remains resilient and proactive in seeking solutions. The recent initiative to donate a new classroom by HOPE and PASUDECO aims to alleviate the classroom shortage, ensuring a conducive learning environment for the students.
