Background

As of the current school year, Conel Elementary School has over 1800 students enrolled. The school is facing a shortage of classrooms, forcing them to utilize 4 small classrooms, 1 donated classroom, and 2 makeshift classrooms. The majority of these rooms are deemed hazardous to the safety of our students. The classrooms are filled with holes, and due to budget constraints, teachers and school staff are shouldering the finances for the renovations and touch-ups to maintain the classrooms. The limited space in the classrooms, accommodating 40-50 students each, restricts the movement of students and hinders their ability to achieve optimal learning outcomes.
