Miasong Elementary School – Emilio B. Escobillo Sr. Elementary School Extension
Background
Miasong is a last mile and IP school catering to Blaan students. They were nominated tho Hope by a farmer in the area who was also a beneficiary of the Agriculture Program of Hope. The school was established in 2019 and the 3 makeshift classrooms they have been using were all donations gathered from the parents and community. The 1 ha land was donated by a local family and was intended as a pineapple plantation, but the land donor believed that the legacy of the school will far outweigh the income coming in from a farm.
